We believe that free market enterprise is the optimal way to distribute goods & services and that government interference in the free market economy usually results in increased costs overall. Thus we believe our county’s future depends on a strong, growing and vibrant private sector unencumbered by excessive government regulation.

We believe that government spending is out of control and needs to be reduced.  We believe our county government can reduce waste and operate our county at lower tax rates while implementing industrial & economical growth initiatives.  We commend leaders who take a principled stand to reduce taxes and stimulate the economy.

 We believe that the success of our county is dependent on a well educated population and that parents have a fundamental duty and right to direct their children’s education.

We support voluntary prayer and the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in its present form.

We believe our citizens have the right to feel safe in their communities and homes.  We support enforcement of our laws and a judiciary that imposes stiff penalties for criminals while respecting the rights of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.  We oppose judicial activism.

We expect our local elected officials to embody the highest standards of ethics and personal responsibility recognizing that they are servants of the people.

Our government should maintain fiscal responsibility through balanced budgets, limited taxation and appropriate expenditures to maintain essential services while conducting governmental affairs in an open forum with a spirit of cooperation.
